Cryogenic distillation is an ultra-low-temperature process that separates gas mixtures into pure components based on their distinct boiling points. It is highly efficient and most commonly used for industrial air separation (producing high-purity nitrogen, oxygen, and argon), solvent recovery, and specialty industrial gases.

An air separation unit uses cryogenic distillation to separate atmospheric air into its primary components (nitrogen, oxygen, and argon) for industrial use.

VOC (volatile organic compound) abatement refers to the capture and recovery of solvent vapors from industrial exhaust streams. CPS's cryogenic condensation systems recover solvents at the source, reducing emissions and recovering usable solvent.

Cryo condensation is a cryogenic process that rapidly cools vapor-laden gas streams to condense and recover solvents or VOCs before they are released into the atmosphere. It is an efficient alternative to adsorption for high-concentration solvent streams.

What is a Delta nutsche filter dryer (DNFD)?

A Delta nutsche filter dryer combines filtration, washing, and drying in a single enclosed vessel. It is widely used in pharmaceutical and API manufacturing where containment, product purity, and process efficiency are critical.

A nutsche filter performs filtration and cake washing under pressure or vacuum. A filter dryer adds a drying stage to the same vessel, eliminating the need to transfer wet cake to a separate dryer, thereby reducing contamination risk and handling time.

A conical vacuum dryer is a rotating, heated vessel that dries wet powders or granules under vacuum. It is used for heat-sensitive or solvent-wet materials in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food applications.

A horizontal paddle dryer uses a jacketed horizontal vessel with a rotating paddle agitator to dry bulk solids or pastes. It is suited for continuous or batch drying of fine chemicals, APIs, and specialty materials.

What is an industrial centrifuge used for?

Industrial centrifuges separate solids from liquids using centrifugal force. They are used across pharmaceutical, chemical, food, critical minerals, and starch processing applications where high-throughput solid/liquid separation is required.

CPS offers peeler centrifuges (horizontal and pharma), inverting filter centrifuges, vertical basket centrifuges, and top discharge centrifuges. Each is suited to different product characteristics, throughput requirements, and industry standards.

An inverting filter centrifuge uses a flexible filter bag that inverts to discharge the filter cake automatically, making it ideal for fine, sticky, or difficult-to-discharge solids in pharmaceutical and chemical applications.

A peeler centrifuge uses a mechanical blade to discharge the filter cake while the bowl continues spinning, enabling high-throughput operation for free-flowing, crystalline, or granular products.
